This role is a critical member of the sales and administration team of Glacier Stone Supply- Kalispell. The process of sourcing, selecting, and fulfilling stone is managed by this Sales Administration and Sales Support role. Their primary responsibility in the office is to build high-level quality relationships inside the firm and with the outside community to promote Glacier Stone Supply. Exceptional communication, action orientation, strong ability to connect, organizational skills, and drive to achieve are critical in this position.
Primary Responsibilities
As Sales Administration and Sales Support your responsibilities and commitments to Glacier are as follows:
Manage and support fulfillment for sales and accounting to levels supporting quarterly goals.
Cross trained and backup for sales and office fulfillment to ensure smooth ramp up into the company.
Lead sales Backoffice programs, and develop, maintain, and expand additional programs to ensure that all business operations are performed efficiently. Coordinate periodic sales and admin meetings, meet regularly with management staff to organize, and lead fulfillment initiatives. Work with vendors, customers, sales and management to ensure efficient sales fulfillment. Ensure that all business-related activities comply with company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and develop vendor process and communication externally.
- Develop relationships with Vendors.
- Effectively communicate with all internal and external relationships
- Maintain required spreadsheets, open paperwork, and completed documentation as required.
- Identify and make recommendations for sales system improvements.
Accountability, Tracking and Analysis
- Report weekly activity to leadership team
- Assist in the coordination of meetings and the preparation of activity/results reports.
- Establish and implement improvements in supplier selection process
Secondary Responsibilities
Will support sales in various ways including:
- Generate and process new sales leads
- Present stone products to walk-in customers
- Assist in managing social media accounts for Glacier Stone (including supplying uploading pictures of local projects)
- Answer phone calls from customers. Order resolution.
- Support sales managers by calling on contractors, masons and architects
- Arrange appointments with clients and sales team
- Update contact information for client
- Making appointments, generating leads, follow up
- Undertake administrative job duties pertaining to the Glacier Stone sales department.
- Assist with Social Media Marketing
