Summary:
To assist the Residential Manager (or Lead/Assistant Residential Manager) in the development and implementation of a comprehensive residential program for each of their assigned individuals
Primary Job Responsibilities:

Work as a member of a team to maintain a clean, safe, positive living environment for each individual who lives at the residence including completing laundry and cleaning assignments

Assist in the development and implementation of each individual’s residential ISP/IEP and daily activity schedule.

Attend and support individuals participating in all community experiences.

Implement positive behavior supports and individual behavior support plans for individuals who live in the home.

Assist in record keeping and report writing, as assigned.

Provide supervision of all individuals while under his/her care.

Administer and record individuals’ medications, in compliance with MAP.

Able to transport individuals to various locations.
-
Provide direct supervision and care to individuals, including 1:1 responsibilities at all times and locations.

Participate in any meetings pertaining to assigned individuals or program planning, as directed.

Engage in de-escalation of individuals.
-
Able to attend training as required.

Preform other related duties as assigned

Physical and mental capacity to work in stressful situations and de-escalate individuals who have limited cognition and complex needs

Proficiency in written and spoken English is an essential function of the job

Pass Guild Driving test to access Guild vehicles for transportations of individuals

Must be able to implement crisis intervention techniques as necessary, including Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (via certification through CPI)

The ability to assist individuals in evacuation from the residence
Qualifications:

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree is preferred; prior experience in lieu of a degree will be considered

Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background requirements
-
MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification or the ability to obtain MAP certification within the first 90 days of employment
