Job Description Summary:
This is a full-time position within the Fibromyalgia and Centralized Pain Exploration (FACE) Lab in the Department of Anesthesiology. The Research Assistant will be trained to perform a variety of duties involved in conducting clinical research studies.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience within the Research field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in a science related field.
Work Experience: Experience in a clinical research setting.
Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills. Data management skills (REDCap, CRIS, etc). Microsoft Office knowledge.
Job Duties Outlined:
Assist with academic and clinical research.
Recruiting, consenting, and enrolling study participants.
Data collection, entry, and management.
Assist with manuscript preparation.
Assist in preparation of materials for regulatory review.
Manage and reply to project-related correspondence.
Attend project meetings.
Assist in the acquisition of research materials from campus facilities.
Assist in administrative duties as related to assigned studies.
Confer with Principal Investigator/Project Manager to review work assignments.
Assist in development/review of laboratory manuals.
Review abstracts and other literature.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor for special projects and further development of the FACE Lab.
