Job Description
Issaquah Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician with a passion for helping pets and their owners. If you have strong animal surgical and nursing skills, and would like to become a integral part of our team we would like to hear form you.
Qualified candidates will have a knowledge of small animal handling practices and procedures including restraint, surgical prep, treatments and familiarity with pharmaceuticals used in surgery, general practice, and most common administration protocols.
The Veterinary Technician will work with the Doctors in the exam rooms to provide professional and compassionate care to our patients, including client education and counseling on preventive parasite control and medication administration. They will also be responsible for placing IV catheters and preparing for and assisting with surgeries and dental procedures

Salary is based experience and skill level.
Work schedule consists of 3 to 4 10 hour shifts per week depending on part-time or full-time positions.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds on your own, or 100 pounds assisted.
