Locations: We are seeking Diesel Mechanics to work at several locations including:
- Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740 on the Big Island of Hawaii
- Kapolei, Hawaii 96707 on Oahu
Job Description: We are looking for experienced Journeyman Diesel Mechanics. Your primary responsibility will be to furnish quality major and minor in-house repairs to various makes and models of diesel equipment within a dealership setting. Any training in Cummins, MX, CAT, Eaton or ASE Certifications a plus.
The Ideal Candidate: Needs to be self-motivated and perform all tasks to the best of their ability. Candidates also need to be motivated to take advantage of all the online OEM Training. Valid Drivers license required and must pass a drug screen test.
Compensation: Highly Competitive Pay. Rate will be determined based on previous experience and training. Full Benefits, paid holidays, vacation and tool discount.
Job Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform accurate and complete vehicle inspections (DOT, PM)
- Perform electronic engine diagnostics and repairs (MX, Cummins, CAT)
- Perform diesel engine repair (MX, Cummins, CAT)
- Perform ABS diagnostics and repairs
- Perform HVAC disgnostics and repairs
- Perform electrical systems diagnostics and repairs
- Perform air brake diagnostics and repairs
- Perform wheel end repairs and adjustments
- Perform suspension and steering diagnostics and repairs
- Perform PM maintenance accurately and efficiently
- Responsible to adhere to all warranty policies and procedures
- Ability to use technical manuals and resources for diagnostics and repairs
- Provide accurate documentation on repair orders
- Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Repair trucks, buses, and other vehicles.
- Make sure that all safety regulations are followed.
- Perform accurate and complete repairs and vehicle inspections.
- Test the condition of brakes, body, wheels, and other parts of vehicles.
