How You Will Make an Impact
Our guests expect luxury, value, and world-class service. As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for extending world-class hospitality and ensuring each guest has a memorable experience to develop a loyal customer base. You will directly impact whether we become our guest’s favorite place to service their vehicle.
What Winning Looks Like:

Timely prepare and file all State & Local compliance returns for AK, CA, NV, OR, TX, and WA including: Sales/Use/Excise Tax, Battery/Tire Fee, Vehicle Inventory Tax, and Personal/Unsecured Property Tax.

Ensures all property/personal property taxes are paid on time.

Works with outside consultants to lower property tax assessments.

Coordinates and corresponds with State & Local auditors.

Maintains monthly dealership level accrual journal entries.

Maintains a comprehensive state tax filing calendar.
-
Reviews and correct schedules.
-
Follows approved office processes.

Provides notes for any issues that need attention from dealership management or Controller on a weekly basis.

Responsible for monitoring changes in state and local tax law, and evaluate the potential impact on the Company’s business and tax provision

Support the development of tax strategies related to the Company’s current business and any proposed business initiatives from a state perspective

Partner with other functional groups across the Company to effectively plan, quantify, and report the tax effects of business operations and accounting changes

Builds relationships and communication with dealership personnel and accounting managers.
Skills Needed to Win:

Minimum of 5 years of corporate state and local tax experience. Experience with an auto dealership or multi-dealer company is a plus and preferred.

Experience in State and local tax matters applicable to a U.S. based multi-state company, including tax compliance, tax accounting and tax audits.

Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, or Google Docs/Sheets/Slides

Strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executing projects

Hard working with strong attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college/university
