Come join us as we work together to help youth see themselves in a new light through experiential learning, innovative mental health interventions, therapeutic lifestyle choices, and safe relationships. Northwest Passage is a treatment community that seeks to create safe spaces for a diverse range of youth including those who identify as LGBTQ, youth of color, youth who are neuro-diverse, and those who have been misunderstood by their own communities. Our Master’s level mental health providers work in collaboration with other professionals to craft experiences that could include nature photography, mixed media art projects, music, movement, nature, sports, etc. in which youth can feel seen, express themselves effectively, and be fully seen by others. Our mental health providers help lead the way in educating and highlighting issues related to trauma, racial equity, and neurodiversity to specific direct care staff teams.
Northwest Counseling and Guidance clinic is seeking enthusiastic, creative mental health professionals to help us build treatment communities in the Northwest Passage Residential programs. Join us as we find engaging ways to teach DBT and SMART skills along with ARC-informed interventions to youth, their family systems, and their caregiving staff. To add to the adventure, your “office” might include a northern Wisconsin prairie, a yurt in the woods, a running river, a horse pasture, or underwater with a camera.
We welcome any level of experience from recent graduates of master level mental health/social work/marriage and family therapy programs to well-seasoned licensed clinicians seeking their final professional experience before retirement. Applicants must either be able to bill for their services or have the potential to bill for services in the future.
