HVAC Service Technician - Ice Machine Specialist
Thermaster Mechanical is seeking a capable HVAC technician willing to focus primarily on ice machines and fractional horsepower HVAC related equipment, to join our team of professionals. Our work is primarily made up of service for industrial and commercial clients. We work on a variety of equipment including but not limited to RTU's, split systems, make-up air units, exhaust fans, ice machines, wall AC units, air compressors, EEAC's, unit heaters, IR heaters, and chillers.

Job Description
The ice machine specialist is a new role within our company, being created to allow for an individual to focus on our growing amount of ice machine preventative maintenance, installation and service work. We primarily service Manitowoc ice machines. While the technician will be expected to be or become proficient and efficient working on ice machines, he must be willing to work on other HVAC related equipment as needed. Other equipment serviced by the ice machine specialist will likely primarily consist of wall air conditioning units and electronic enclosure air conditioning units. Other equipment serviced by the technician may be determined by the individual's prior experience and/or interests within the company's scope of work.
Training is provided for all equipment as needed. We do not do restaurant work in exception to HVAC equipment for cafeterias at a few of our customer's facilities.

$40,000-$100,000/year
Full-time 40 hours a week, year round

Requirements
· Good & insurable driving record
· Clean background check
· EPA 608 refrigerant certification – Universal or type I
· Personal tools including basic hand tools, cordless drill, refrigerant gauges.
· Personal meters including VOM, amperage meter and temperature meter
· Shows up to work consistently and on time
· Limited personal phone use during work hours
· Punctual and organized
· Represents self and company positively in appearance and manors
· Willingness to be trained and comply with OSHA workplace regulations, in addition to safety procedures in place by company and/or customers
· Works for a quality finished product
· Can work with others or independently
· Comfortable working with voltages up to 480-volt, 3-phase(after training provided)
