Electrical Construction Specialist

Description:
Provide oversight, administration, and coordination on multiple projects in the construction phase. This position requires interaction with the firm’s project team members (designers and engineers from the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology systems disciplines), as well as architects, consultants, clients, and contractors to identify project requirements. Demonstrate a trustworthy presence through your professionalism, demeanor, and technical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple priorities and projects, meeting tight deadlines.
- Support the construction process by receiving, responding and coordinating requests for information and submittal reviews.
- Route documents to appropriate parties for signature in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage the filing and organization of construction documents and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintains project management reporting software, creates, updates and distributes project/client files and generates schedules and reports.
- Tracks project budgets and may assist in client invoicing.
- Coordinates and attends construction meetings.
- Assists with client and contractor communications.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be highly organized and process driven to coordinate multiple projects efficiently.
- Strong understanding of the A/E industry and the built environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical designer, electrical engineer, or as a contractor working on electrical systems.
- Ability to read and comprehend electrical system design drawings.
- Working knowledge of Excel, OneNote, Word, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team structure.
- Ability to learn & grow professionally.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $46.00 per hour
