Job Summary
The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is an advocate for the residents and staff to foster Cascadia Healthcare’s high standards of care. He/ she ensures that each resident receives the necessary care to attain and maintain optimum levels of well-being. The Director of Nursing counsels nurse supervisors and managers and works collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as the clinical partner.

Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred
- Valid Montana RN license or ability to obtain a Montana RN license
- Valid CPR certification
- DNS-CT or CDONA preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- 3-5 years’ experience Nurse Management experience
Responsibilities & Duties
- Assures nursing structure supports clinical and administrative standards that will support the facility to achieve its mission and remain in regulatory compliance
- Implements facility’s systems, processes, and programs to ensure clinical competency of all nursing staff
- Participates in the facility’s quality assurance performance improvement process by analyzing outcomes, identifying trends and developing action plans.
- Communicates and collaborates with the Medical Director, attending and consulting physicians, ancillary and service departments, and contracted resources.
- Advocates for and assists with smooth transitions of care from one setting to another through effective communication and discharge planning activities
- Evaluates staff development needs for the nursing department. Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Operations to develop and manage systems to assure clinical competencies during the hiring process and annually.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $129,967.92 per year
