Inventech Marine Solutions designs and builds aluminum boats for a variety of users around the world. We are continuing to expand and have an immediate opening for a service writer and warranty manager to join our team. Duties include creating service work orders, performing service orders, assisting with work order billing, placing orders, receiving, billing parts and maintaining inventory. Ideal candidate must have an extensive background is marine installation and service of equipment. They must be highly organized, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have excellent customer service skills. Candidate should be versed in Microsoft office products. Extensive marine experience is required. This is a full-time year-round position which offers a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, vacation, and paid holidays. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Inventech Marine Solutions is located in Bremerton WA. We perform service work on our vessels as needed by clients. We currently have approximately 50 employees. Our work environment is fast paced while still being extremely fun. We hold a strong reputation of providing quality products and outstanding customer service. We build and manufacture boats from 17FT all the way up to 50FT, each built to order. This provides a fun diverse work environment with a unique portfolio of clients. We also provide commercial platforms for state and federal agencies.
Qualified candidates must have marine experience and previously held a position in a customer service. This position is directly responsible for the scheduling, creating, and billing of work orders. This position is also responsible for coordinating responses to questions from clients about purchased products as needed.
What You Will Do
- Speak with clients about upcoming service work, building a work order, scheduling the work in partnership with the shop managers, and communicating this plan to other departments.
- You will then self-perform the scheduled work on the vessels. If needed you will partner with other members to complete the work.
- Help resolve client questions about purchased products.
- Partner with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure proper billings are generated
- Assist Senior Purchasing Associate with the building of BOM’s (Bill of Materials) and purchasing against them.
- Complete Purchase Order Requests and ensure proper approvals are obtained
