As a member of the North America Regional Finance Shared Services team, the Finance Assistant will work closely with various teams and business partners throughout North America to support the financial aspects of client and case team portfolios. The individual will participate in the delivery of reliable finance and accounting services to support business needs in the key areas of financial management, project management, client contract management, and revenue and cash management. This role will also participate in special projects, analysis, and initiatives to optimize the performance of current capabilities and gain exposure to data analytics and business intelligence tools.
Financial Management and Client Case Team Support:
Process, reconcile, and ensure accuracy of financial transactions in areas such as case opening, contracting, invoicing, accounts receivable, and case closing
Support the North America Region Controller Analysis team on regional and global initiatives to improve days sales outstanding (DSO) and client contract management across the North America region
Collaborate with a wide variety of business partners, including local, regional, and global Finance teams, as well as global Legal and Risk teams on shared cross-functional initiatives
Effectively communicate ideas to help refine shared services support model to improve regional business processes and reporting of key metrics
Assist with team projects regarding operational process and productivity improvements to enhance controls and increase procedural effectiveness
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

B.A./B.S. degree in accounting or finance with 0-1 years of business experience preferred, or equivalent experience

Competency with computing tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and financial ERP systems such as Oracle

Analytical mindset with strong business/accounts receivable/accounting/financial management background

Ability to work varied hours to complete projects and tasks according to deadlines
