Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Engagement with team members in working through complex payroll & accounting strategies for each client.
· Participate in relationship growth & social activities for the firm.
· Be involved in multiple client engagements and special projects - on time and on budget.
· Work performed in an office with controlled environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Must understand and be able to perform all aspects of payroll
· Preparation of payroll and monthly, quarterly & annual payroll forms (941, 940, W-2, W-3) as well as information returns (1099’s, 1098-T, Form 1096)
· QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online: 4+ years, please be able to elaborate your experience.
· Excellent time-management skills, and ability to meet aggressive timelines.
· Strong attention to detail while conceptually understanding the big picture of the firm.
· Outstanding communications skills, with internal & external stakeholders.
· Strong people skills in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently.
· Ability to follow complex instructions and multi-task in fast-paced environment.
· Ability to develop strong relationships based on trust and credibility with clients and peers.
· Tax preparation or ability to support tax team is a plus
· Candidates with equivalent combinations of experience and training which provide the knowledge, skills and demonstrated abilities necessary to perform the work will be considered for the position. We are an EOE
Salary: $55k DOE + Bonus Opportunities
