Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Para Lenders are charged with processing credit request from application to closing, while Commercial Lenders duties & responsibilities are to sell product and maintain strong client relationships. That process will include but is not limited to the following requirements.

Ø Follows and incorporates First Bank’s Core Values and established policies and procedures.

Ø Collects signed loan application, reviews for accuracy, adds proposed loan to the system for processing.

Ø Manages Lenders(s) pipeline and workflows from inception to loan closing.

Ø Creates final electronic loan file and ensures all loan documents are accounted for and loaded into the Bank’s electronic loan file storage system.

Ø Coordinates with real estate agents, closing agents, applicants, appraiser, title companies, attorneys, Lender, and lending personnel during the underwriting, documentation, and loan closing phases.

Ø Prepares loan pre-closing documentation and coordinates the details of the loan closing including funding with loan operations, loan processing, attorney’s title companies, or the banks legal counsel. etc. This is to include understanding title insurance commitment reports including title exceptions.

Ø Coordinates with legal counsel and borrowers to cure any title deficiencies.

Ø Prepares loan origination worksheets for loan operations to assure loans are properly set up on systems.

Ø Maintaining and updating construction loan disbursement forms and following up for executed construction loan advance documentation from borrowers and their contractors.

Ø As needed, takes application, and facilitates loan approval and closing criteria.

Ø Clears all identified loan documentation errors in a timely manner.

Ø Prepares term sheets, commitment letters, credit memos, etc.

Ø Handles written and verbal correspondence and inquiries for the Lender(s) from applicants, internal Bank staff, and third-party vendors.

Ø Tracks and follows up on financial statement, tax returns, personal financial statements, and other required documentation to clear financial exceptions.

Ø Tracks and monitors loan covenants.

Ø Tracks and monitors Lenders(s) past due loan reports. Send property delinquency notice or makes phone calls as directed by the Lender(s).

Ø All Bank policies and procedures are to be followed in accordance with the compliance regulations and all required annual job specific training.

Ø Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Ø Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

Ø Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of personnel.

Ø Must possess knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Ø Work requires continual attention to detail in composition, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

Ø Familiarity with lending procedures, laws, and regulations.

Ø Good organizational and time management skills.

Ø Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education/Training/Experience:

Ø High school diploma or Ged required.

Ø 2-5 years of relevant loan administration and or Commercial Real Estate lending experience, to include commercial loan work done with lenders, attorneys, or title insurance agencies.

Ø Good understanding of office procedures and equipment

Ø Strong word processing, spelling, grammar, and organizational skills

Ø Excellent attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
