Job Description
Refresh Valley Dental is a private dental practice in Northampton, MA, and we’re looking to hire a dental assistant!
Are you tired of working in an office where your coworkers never take responsibility for their job? Do you feel like no one is ever on the same page? Are you worried your office isn’t doing enough for your patients? Are you considering trying something new?
Our practice aims to help both our team members and our community to thrive. We’re focused on compassion, teamwork, and communication. We want our office to be a refreshingly positive space in the dental world. And we want to work hard together to create a home away from home. While we are excited to serve the whole community, we also have a special interest in making our queer patients feel comfortable and respected. Finally, we have special interest in food security, and are proud to be partnering with the Northampton Survival Center to donate a month’s worth of free healthy groceries for every new patient who comes in for an exam. While we understand this might not be the ideal environment for everyone, we’re hoping that the right dental assistant will feel right at home here.
Ideally, the dental assistant for this job will be a kind, flexible, detail oriented individual, with 1 to 5 years’ experience, who is ready to grow their skillset. In addition to traditional dental assisting, our assistants also present financial options, schedule appointments, and follow up with patients who have unscheduled treatment. We can provide on-the-job training for the right fit, but a current Massachusetts dental assisting license, x-ray certification, and CPR certification are preferred. We also require timeliness, ownership, cleanliness, organization, and a service-oriented attitude.
Our mission is to help our community be healthy, eat good food, and smile with confidence, and we hope you feel the same way!
Send us an email with your resume and cover letter if you’re interested.
Take care,
Aurora
