PRN Social Worker/Caseworker Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center
The State of Missouri Department of Mental Health at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center is looking for a positive, energetic and caring Social Worker/or Caseworker to provide PRN services as part of one our innovative interdisciplinary treatment teams to mentally ill forensic clients in a secure setting. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate compassion and an ability to work in a trauma informed and recovery based environment.
Primary responsibilities:
- Assist Social Workers in completing tasks or any combination of the below duties:
- Provide coverage for areas with vacancies or social workers on leave,
- Conduct Social Services Assessments (Initial or Annual),
- Complete admission paperwork,
- Provide individual or group treatment and complete corresponding documentation,
- Write monthly progress/summary notes for clients,
- Offer case management to assigned clients,
- Conduct suicide risk and other risk assessments,
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team,
- Other duties as assigned (assignments will vary based on need and location)
Eligibility:
- Master’s Degree or License in Social Work Preferred
$25 - $30/hr.
