Job Title: Marketing Specialist
Reports to: VP Sales
POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and communicating the strategic marketing plan to meet the company’s goals. With a passion for both business and marketing, you will be the bridge between our sales team and the internal workings of the company. This highly motivated and driven individual will lead and optimize marketing efforts for company campaigns, collaborate with multifunctional teams and execute plans. In addition to setting objectives and create profitable strategies, the Marketing Specialist will spearhead research efforts and bolster the company’s market share while remaining consistent with brand identity.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, design & execute marketing campaigns through email blasts, landing pages, and surveys to both internal and external audiences
- Monitor & update the company CRM system by working with the sales team to ensure accurate information through organizing contact lists and separating leads vs. customers
- Create analytic reports to track campaign and sales performance.
- Participate in high-level sales meetings on a quarterly basis.
- Regularly meet with customers and leads to understand their needs.
- Expand social media presence and gain leads through social media engagement and campaigns.
- Brainstorm & build mockups for new packaging designs for both wholesale and retail.
- Attend food shows to support sales team in tracking/converting leads.
- Manage allocation and inventory of marketing supplies (banners, tablecloths, grills, etc.).
- Partner with content production team to request and develop the creation of multi-media materials to support campaigns and sales team.
- Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience with Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
- Demonstrated experience with marketing campaigns, basic knowledge of design methodologies & branding.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related discipline.
- Knowledge of B2B marketing.
- 3-5 years of prior experience.
- Experience analyzing and interpreting data metrics to track performance.
