Therapeutics is currently seeking innovative, fully certified, and licensed professionals for job openings in our Ann Arbor, Monroe, Pontiac, and Walled Lake area clinics. Candidates must be comfortable with early starting hours (6:00 AM). This staff position is dedicated to providing psychosocial services to clients receiving medication for opioid addiction, who may also be experiencing co-occurring disorders. We are looking for individuals passionate about learning and adept at grasping new concepts. Please refer to the specific job requirements outlined below:
Responsibilities:
- Embrace the company's mission, policies, and approach to delivering enhanced services augmented by the use of technology.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the American Society of Addiction Medicine manual and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V).
- Provide screening, assessment, individual and group counseling services for individuals with opioid addiction.
- Collaborate with other professionals and referral sources as needed to provide comprehensive care for clients.
- Attend and actively participate in supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
Duties:
- Complete intake process for clients within the established timeframe, including completion of all required critical documents such as clinical assessments, Master Treatment Plans, Treatment Plan updates, and timely counseling notes.
- Conduct assessments to determine client needs, develop treatment plans, maintain 90-day reviews, and recovery progress using the R3 Recovery Index scores in a timely manner.
- Utilize AI technology to offer clients enhanced treatment options and improve client documentation related to the provisioning of evidence-based interventions.
- Conduct group and individual engagement sessions in compliance with individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation for client sessions, stopping clients from receiving their next dosing (Flagging) due to not showing up for schedule appointments (No Call No Shows/NCNS), and updating notes.
- Be actively responsive to updating client records for CMHPSM and ODIN electronic records according to required time frames.
- Actively engage with your client caseload, collaborate with other counselors, and be readily available to support clients on a real-time basis.
- Conduct group sessions on a weekly basis.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to accurately track client engagement in groups, individual sessions, and medication evaluations.
- Follow all confidentiality guidelines, including HIPAA and 42 CFR federal laws governing the disclosure of any patient health information, diagnosis, treatment, or referral for SUD.
- Ensure same-day case note documentation in Electronic Medical Record System (EMR)/Methasoft.
- Demonstrate flexibility with client scheduling, including early hours (6:00 AM starting time).

- Emergency Medical Record (i.e., Methasoft preferred) and Microsoft Office Proficiency

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a diverse client population.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling or a related field preferred
- Current state licensure as a Social Worker/Counselor (LMSW , LLMSW, LPC and LLPC)
- Credentialed as Certified Advanced Addiction & Drug Counselor (CAADC, CADC, CAADC-DP, CADC-DP) Professional
- 3+ years of experience in addiction counseling
