School Based Clinical Department Manager

$75,000 - $85,000 per year
Watch Me Shine is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Department Manager (LCSW or LCPC) to work with children and their families.

The Clinical Department Manager is responsible for overseeing and providing all aspects of care for Sections 65 School Based Services. The clinical department manager (LCSW or LCPC) is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the clinical department. This includes coordination and related paperwork for intakes, assessments, treatment plans, clinical interventions, supervisions, progress notes, authorizations, and discharge summaries. The clinical department manager will supervise and support other masters level clinicians (LCSW or LCPC). The clinical department manager will assist in the training and supervision of employees regarding trauma informed care, crisis management, professional documentation, implementing treatment plans, maintaining professional boundaries, managing concerns related to child safety, and policies relating to clinical services. The Clinical Department Manager needs to be a person willing to work diligently to offer our children and families the best possible education and interventions possible. The clinical department manager will support advocate for clients in meetings within the community as called to do so. This person must have strong skills in paperwork, customer service, communication, and organization. The clinical department manager must be highly motivated to oversee and support this department to ensure the highest quality programming and interventions are delivered with program fidelity along with ensuring Watch Me Shine's vision, mission and core values are being upheld.
Essential Functions of the Clinical Department:
- Assess the needs of each child and family seeking/receiving 65 services as assigned.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments.
- Works collaborative with school department to ensure program fidelity and service delivery are meeting WMS standards.
- Support in the development of clinical goals for student treatment plans and ensure appropriate behavior plans are implemented as needed for each child/family based on clinical assessment and principles.
- Maintain frequent check-ins with parents and providers.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy as assigned and maintain full-time caseload.
- Provide direction in a supervisory role to BHP.
- Maintain HCT records according to Watch Me Shine policies and State of Maine licensing regulations.
- Communicate the needs and requests of clients to providers and others involved in care.
Qualifications:
- Clinical Licensure (LCSW, LMSW, LCPC) in active standing in accordance with Section 65 regulations
- Certifications in CPR/First Aid and crisis response training
- Pass an extensive criminal history check
- Ability to speak effectively and demonstrate a calm composure with staff, families, and community providers.
- 7+ years of experience
