Raytheon CODEX seeks an ISSO in Indialantic, FL. The ISSO execute the Cybersecurity program as required by various USG doctrines, including the NIST, ICD 503, JSIG, DAAPM, and their supplements. The ISSO will support the ISSM by positively contributing to Raytheon’s top-tier Cybersecurity program by:

Drafting RMF documents, including SSPs, RARs, POAMs, SCTMs, SOPs, ST&Es, etc.

Performing self-inspections to remediate perceived deficiencies as part of the ConMon program
-
Performing sustainment activities, including change management, account management, auditing, media protection, user training, file transfers, etc.

Regularly conducting system audits, system baseline validations, and required ConMon activities
-
Effectively communicating with customers, program managers, IT staff, senior leadership, etc.

Supporting various actions related to Cyber incident response, investigation, and resolution

Enforcing Cybersecurity policies and procedures for accredited systems

The ideal candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills, in-depth technical aptitude, exemplary customer service skills, time management skills, and the ability to solve complex challenges

The ISSO will report directly to the Raytheon CODEX ISSM - Palm Bay, FL.

The ISSO must maintain a TS/SCI clearance and successfully complete a polygraph examination. The ISSO must obtain a Cyber certification (e.g., IAM Level 1, Level 2, etc.) within six months of hire
Required Skills

Top Secret Clearance Required
-
3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, information systems security, or security engineering
-
Experience developing MSSPs, SSPs, SOPs, and supporting RMF Bodies of Evidence
-
Experience supporting various computer hardware platforms and operating systems in stand-alone, and LAN/WAN configurations
-
Working knowledge of operating systems security features and settings (e.g., Windows, Linux, etc.)
-
Proven ability to make sound information systems security decisions imposed by ICD 503, NIST SPs, and other government doctrines
-
Professional demeanor, good interpersonal skills, and ability to excel in a high-paced, multi-tasked environment
-
Demonstrated ability to act independently, prioritize tasks, and manage schedules
-
Willingness to perform security tasks outside specialty (e.g., program security) and be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, etc.)

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written modes and be able to author and present subject-specific presentations

Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of work schedule
Desired Skills

Experience with computer forensic tools and investigation methodologies

Experience with various information system security assessment/hardening tools – Splunk, SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, ACAS, Nessus, Rapid7, etc.

Working knowledge of Wide-Area and Local Area Networks (WAN/LAN), including servers, workstations, routers, switches, firewalls, and other peripherals

DoDD 8570/8140 IAM-compliant professional certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM, CASP+, etc.)
-
Prior Cybersecurity, ISSM/ISSO, ISSE, or alternate ISSM/ISSO experience
-
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and remain customer service orientated

In-depth knowledge of NIST special publications, CNSS policies, and instructions
Education
Required Education (including Major): Bachelor's Degree in information systems, Cybersecurity, or six years of experience in place of education.
