We’re looking for a Purchasing and Administrative Coordinator to join our team!
The Purchasing and Administrative Coordinator performs a variety of duties associated with purchasing and supply management for Kalona Direct. This position is responsible for receiving and processing purchase orders, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, assisting with new product identification, and managing general administrative duties for Kalona Direct.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Buys and manages inventory for assigned Kalona Direct vendors.
- Maintains assigned vendor information in Google Drive and on Quickbooks.
- Provides general administrative and clerical support for Kalona Direct.
- Assists in new product identification and sources new products as needs arise.
- Works collaboratively with the internal warehouse team to ensure proper inventory levels.
- Participates in the physical inventory process.
- Completes purchase orders and manages the order entry process; communicating and resolving problems with production, warehouse, and customers as needed.
- Handles correspondences and documents and maintains filing and data systems.
- Manages general bookkeeping duties such as accounts receivable.
- Provides excellent customer service to internal and external partners and acts as a resource for all Kalona Direct business needs.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in administrative support, preferably in an accounting or purchasing/supply chain management environment.
- Experience and proficiency with Quickbooks and Google Suite.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.
- Strong math skills.
- Service oriented with the ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Team-oriented with a focus on working in a collaborative environment.
- Efficient & accurate data entry skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (listening, questioning, conflict resolution).
- Able to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task, and work under deadlines.
- Good attitude with a high level of integrity and alignment with our mission, vision, values & operating principles.
