HCR Home Care, a regional leader in professional home care services for over 40 years, is hiring! We are seeking a skilled recruiter for a fulltime opportunity based in our Rochester, NY offices.
Summary: Under the direction of the Team Leader, provides full cycle recruiting in a high volume environment for a set group of internal customers within in our footprint across New York State. Works within the human resources team, which promotes maximizing individual and team performance, while maintaining a positive company culture and fun work environment.
- Builds a pipeline of applicants by utilizing recruiting tools, including an Applicant Tracking System, Indeed.com and other internet recruiting tools, resume database searches, job fairs and other on or off-site recruiting events.
- Uses critical thinking and creativity to align candidates to a matching employment opportunity.
- Using tools and training provided, researches potential applicants to ensure they meet minimum requirements.
- Establishes relationships with career services offices at area colleges/trade schools, community partners, and other key candidate channels in the communities the agency serves.
- Using tools provided, and within established deadlines, contacts potential applicants to conduct phone screens; schedules and conducts in person interviews; and if necessary schedules follow up interviews with hiring manager or designee.
- Using tools provided, confirms compensation / offer packages are fair and equitable.
- Collects required credentialing and on-boarding paperwork; works in conjunction with onboarding specialist to ensure a complete and accurate employee file is submitted to Human Resources.
- Keeps in touch with new hires during onboarding process to ensure a positive new employee onboarding experience.
- Is present to meet/greet new hires on start date.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field preferred. In lieu of degree will accept commensurate experience.
- Level I: 1-3 yrs of corporate recruiting (or related) experience in a high volume corporate recruiting capacity
- Level II: 4-6 years of corporate recruiting experience in a high volume capacity; 1-3 yrs of which are in a high volume home care/corporate healthcare recruiting capacity
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, time management and organizational skills required.
- Have a proven track record of personal accountability, good worth ethic, integrity and attention to detail.
- Fluency with electronic applicant tracking systems; ADP Workforce helpful.
- Ability to work efficiently with Excel spreadsheets and MS Word documents.
- Valid driver’s license. Some travel required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
