Position: IT Manager
Our team seeks a motivated, knowledgeable, and talented hands-on IT Manager responsible for the strategy, processes, and execution of IT infrastructure and systems for the organization. This position will lead the department's engineering staff and plan, schedule, and proactively support a wide spectrum of technology products and systems. You will be an integral part of the team and will aid the company in achieving its mission of protecting the people, facilities, and assets of our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Hands-on development, maintenance, support, and optimization of key functional areas. These include security, network, server, data communications, database, backup, and disaster recovery infrastructures.
- Manage IT Engineering department in accordance with company policy. Ensure all SLA’s are met and/or exceeded.
- Responsible for the supervision, direction, communication, and development of the IT Engineering staff.
- Work in conjunction with Project Manager(s), Field Manager(s) and field staff to complete engineering requests in an efficient manner and prioritize daily activities to meet required milestones.
- Optimizing existing IT processes to increase efficiency and researching new technology products to recommend.
- Examine associate work for accuracy, neatness and conformance to best practices as well as company policies and procedures.
- Participates in team recruitment, interviews and selection of personnel needed. Evaluates performance, makes salary recommendations and administers disciplinary actions consistent with company policy.
- Assist post-sales engineering and project management as necessary with technical issues & redesigns
- Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Complete internal projects as assigned.
- Maintain and develop a healthy and positive team culture.
- Other duties as required or assigned by company management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with a related technology focus or equivalent technical experience
- 6+ of professional experience in Information Technology
- 2+ of leadership experience in Information Technology.
- IT Technical experience, IP Networking (TCP/IP), Switching, Routing, Firewall, Microsoft Platforms, Linux Platforms, Storage Arrays, SAN/NAS Technologies, Wireless Infrastructures.
- Integrated Security Experience & Manufacturer certifications in Avigilon, Bosch, ICT preferred but not required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification preferred but not required.
- Strong foundation of best of breed concepts, practices, and procedures; relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to assess project status and take actions to address any delays to project completion beyond scheduled end dates.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside the organization.
- Possess excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
