Job Requirements:
A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, preferably.
One year minimum experience as a Director in a center-based program.
Knowledge and experience with Step Up To Quality.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to relate sensitively to children and staff.
Evidence of sufficient security and judgment to handle crisis situation sand to use
supervision constructively.
Must maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times.
.Job Description:
1. To offer a program that meets the emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs of both the individual and the group.
2. Maintain all ODJFS and STUQ standards, policies and records.
3. To ensure center efficiency at all times including, but not limited to, interviewing and hiring, enrollment, staff hours, ratios and center expenses
4. Maintain internal and external marketing for the center.
5.To assist in the office with phones, collection and recording of fees, enrolling students, parent tours, and miscellaneous paperwork.
6.To assist in the supervision, training and professional growth of all staff members.
