MUST HAVE RESTAURANT MANAGER EXPERIENCE
At Potomac Family Dining Group we own and operate 48 Applebee’s Grill & Bar restaurants in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and North Carolina. We are one of the 10 largest franchise groups in the Applebee’s system. We are currently seeking a Salaried Managers to supervise daily restaurant operations in our Forestville, MD location.
The Manager is primarily responsible for managing people and processes in delivering superior food and beverages to restaurant guests.
Responsibilities
- Trains and coaches Front/Back of House team members
- Interacts verbally with all bar and FOH guests when needed
- Manages service of alcohol (Service Manager)
- Manages safety standards and food prep (Kitchen Manager)
- Local Store Marketing (Service Manager)
- Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding
- Conducting regular inventory and ordering
- Enforcing health and safety rules and laws.
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Service Manager or Kitchen Manager in a casual dine environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Conflict management abilities
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment
- Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
