Tax Manager (Public Accounting) JOB SUMMARY:
We are currently looking for a Hybrid Tax Manager for our client in Seattle, Washington.
Pay is $130K - $175K + Bonus + Yearly Pay increases + Signing/Retention bonus
- Small Firm (Around 20 employees)
- Health, Dental & Vision plans (Firm pays 70% towards firm-sponsored plan)

- Hardware provided (computer, office supplies, and more)
- IF candidate chooses to be Hybrid - A typical hybrid schedule is 2/3. Two days at in office, three days at home.
- 22 PTO days + 10 Holidays (6 scheduled and 4 floating) + 40 hours sick leave
- Tax Season hours 65
Tax Manager (Public Accounting) Duties:
- Experience with Ultra Tax
- Must have 4+ years of recent and relevant experience in U.S. public accounting
- Review/Prepare/Approve complex tax returns, including multi‐state returns for Individuals, Estates and Trusts, Partnerships, S Corporations, and other business entities
- Technical research
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS, state, and other tax authorities
- Analyze the scope of each engagement to manage schedules, budgets, and deadlines
- Monitor compliance with due dates and within time budgets
- Supervision, assign duties and training staff
- Direct interaction with Partners and Clients
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Masters's Degree in Accounting or Taxation is required
- CPA license, EA certification, or CPA eligible with 4+ years of public accounting experience, including tax return preparation and review
