Technical Engineer/Entry Level
Summary:
Ruwac Inc. manufactures the world's most durable Industrial Vacuum Systems. Our in-house engineering insures the highest level of ISO, NFPA/NEC, UL, CSA, and OSHA compliance for the safe collection of vacuuming combustible dust and fine particles. Core Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Design and develop CAD models and blueprints for new and existing products.
- Overview, analyze, process, and organize engineering change orders.
- Assist with the development and improvement of products (planning, design, construction, and documentation process).
- Create and update instructional and part manuals.
- Assist purchasing and production with daily inquiries.
- Hand-on developing/production activities (Test design parameters)
- Demonstrate professional confidentiality.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate science/engineer or 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of MCAD packages, (SolidWorks preferred)
- Professional demeanor and interest in working in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills when interacting with others and expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
- Excellent planning and organization skills are required for our fast-paced environment.
- Must be highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
- Experience with computer software, including, Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Self-motivated with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills when interacting with others and expressing ideas effectively and professionally to engineering and non-engineering audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience with machine shops including lathe, mill, and hand tools.
- Experience with ERP and PDM systems
- Experience with electrical schematics diagrams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
