Embodied Living Counseling, LLC is a private psychotherapy practice specializing in individual, group, couple and family treatment to address symptoms related to trauma, anxiety or related disorders. We are located in The Meadows Office Complex, right off the highway, in the heart of North Kingstown. The mission of Embodied Living Counseling, LLC is to build an environment of safety, non-judgement, and compassion for clients to explore current or history of challenging and/or traumatic experiences. We pride ourselves around providing a holistic perspective and education around practices of daily living, spirituality, growth and relapse prevention. Counselors working at Embodied Living Counseling, LLC are skilled at guiding clients on the journey to healing through the use of evidenced-based practices allowing clients to discover their individual purpose, calling, life intention, peace and hope.

Licensed Therapist Qualifications: Licensed in RI LCSW, LMHC-A, LMFT. Additional licenses in MA or CT preferred.
Experience: Masters degree or higher, two years professional experience working with clients with a history of trauma is preferred.
Credentialed with BCBS, United/Optum, Aetna, and Tricare is preferred.
Duties: Manages clinical caseload; completes diagnostic assessments, creates treatment plans based on client’s needs/goals, provides psychotherapy sessions utilizing evidenced-based practices, maintains clinical documentation in our electronic medical records, collaborates with other providers around treatment, participates in individual and group supervision, assessment for emergency hospitalization, serve as client advocate with referrals as needed, continue to grow in your profession through continuing education.
Embodied Living Counseling provides the following; Office space, laptop, google phone number, administrative support, pre-screening of clients prior to assignment, in-house billing services, insurance credentialing as needed, individual and group supervision, supportive colleagues, electronic medical records, telehealth platform, marketing, copay and missed appointment fee collections and referrals.
