As a territory sales representative for Bellevue, Washington, you'll have the opportunity to work from your home office, traveling to independent agencies to assist with building and strengthening their book of Progressive business. Ideal candidates will make use of their strong interpersonal skills while influencing agencies within their territory to market Progressive services and products, while also providing marketing strategies. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to prospect for new agencies in the territory. We’ll help you in reaching these goals by providing a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and company card.
Territory: Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, Woodinville, Bothell, Issaquah, Kent, Auburn, and Wenatchee surrounding communities along Highway 97 in Washington. Candidates must be able to travel to and meet with all agencies in person within this geographic area. There is overnight travel required with this position (4-6 nights per month).
Home office location: Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, Woodinville, Bothell, Issaquah, Kent, Auburn, and surrounding communities
Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study (Marketing, Business Management) and three years of outside business to business sales experience
- Instead of a degree, five years of outside business to business sales experience or five years of experience in the property and casualty field
- Compliance with Progressive’s driving standards and/or policy
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Preferred skills
- Demonstrated outside business to business sales experience
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to use formal and informal networks to accomplish goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Compensation
- $89,000 - $109,000/year
- Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
